How toget the residence permit
Youhave to go to the 1. Localadministration of your residence with the following documents:
-passport (also of the family members)
- copyof your work permit
-3 passport photographs (also of the family members)
-copy of the rental agreement of your appartment
-copy of your contract of employment
Pleaseask at the local administration for a "Tax Card". You have to forwardthis tax card to me as well as a copy of a form called "Déclarationd'Arrivée" which you will receive at the local administration.
Oncethis is done, you have to go to the 2.Ministry of Foreign Affairs
withthe following documents:

Certified true copy of the passport (alsoof the family members)

Copy of the“Déclaration d’Arrivée” (which you received a the local administration)

Copy of the rentalagreement
-
Copy of the birthcertificate (also of the family members)
Theaddress of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is the following:

The counters are only open in the morning from 8.30 a.m. until 11.30a.m.
Within2 weeks, you will receive a letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at yourLuxembourghome address in which they inform that you will have to undergo a medicalcheck-up at a doctor. You don’t need to wait for this letter before you do themedical check-up.
Youwill have to do the following:
- You have to undergo amedical check-up at a doctor. Please inform the doctor that it is for theobtaining of a residence permit. You will receive a certificate from the doctorwhich you have to take to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- You will have to goto the “Enregistrement” to get a “Sticker”. Employees who are Luxembourg-Cityresident will have to go to the Enregistrement located in Luxembourg-Gasperich,67-69, rue Verte.
Documentsyou need to have when you return a second time to the Ministry of ForeignAffairs:

Medical visit
Forthe medical visit, you can go to any general Doctor. There is a medicalcenter in Belair close to Luxembourg city (see enclosed map). Please call first for anappointment and inform them that it is for a residence permit. Here is theaddress.
