the applications like QQ doesn't care about "physical" layer, it is based on the operating system.
and Mobile QQ is a rubbish because it doesn't support WIFI. so you have to connect QQ with GPRS/3G and pay the dataconnection fee. you'd better not use Mobile QQ unless you have a plan illimite, or you found a old verstion with support WIFI.
thanks a lot! in fact, i have installed the mobile qq in my HTC DIAMOND with illimited 3G, but it doesn't work, and how can i get it connected? i m just wondering whether it needs some special setting?
try when your phone connected with 3G, if your Mobile Internet Explorer and mobile Live Messenger works.
maybe because QQ banned other connection method (except GPRS) becos of the "Cooperation" with operators for MORE MONEY.
in fact, you can find a old version of QQ which support WIFI and ActiveSync connection. i think this version can let you connencted. but this is a very old version. no nickname. non-Unicode.
