Your essay is interesting. Being troubled by love is an eternal topic~~

I red 'Jane Eyre' and other classical love stories when I was young (I feel still young now ^_^). I really appreciated them. But things changed, I was then troubled by the reality when I first got touch into the society.

To make short, love for me is an emotional feeling with purely sexual nature. Love with sexual act is of extreme wonder and harmony, one of the most beautiful things (there are others!!!) that we can experience. Wedding is a just result of the cohesion of love and social life. Wedding is not equal to love. The current world represents so extreme diversity that falling love with someone is much easier in our period than that of Charlotte Brontë. So you don't necessarily fall in love with only one person. Being faithful at this level is almost a religious believe. The real world is also material, enjoying life (someone interpret it as romantic things) becomes very easy without really understanding many things or spending many efforts. Most western people enjoy life with their material superiority (economically based on infinite exploitation of other nations, including Chinese), while Chinese people (all developing countries) do not really pass to this step. This gives the difference between a European guy and a Chinese guy, and consequently, Chinese people look more for 'forever' love (or wedding) while western people don't believe such thing but look for experiences of love.

What we can really do? (If I knew the answer, I would not be here ~~) The only things we try is to open your mind, to understand the world, to communicate with others, to get rid of material appearance...etc.

PS: I suggest people who think about these questions to read books of Kundera, or if you have some advices~~
