Store Manager(Marseille)
The Store Manager is responsible for leading the team to ensure the successful opening of our first flagship store in Europe. Through operational excellence, he/she involves consistently delivering satisfactory services to our customers, building a trustworthy brand image and enhancing brand awareness in local market, and ultimately achieving store profitability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
OPENING PREPARATION and OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT:
- Leverage store offer selection and planning through his/her insights into the local market and customers.
- Coordinate and implement store concept and construction.
- Manage the receiving of agencements and products, as well as layout and display.
- Recruit, build, train, and motivate the store team.
- Proactively collaborate with headquarter to execute and monitor all aspects of the new store opening.
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
- Communicate the company’s strategy and ensure execution through planning and timely follow-up
- Monitor market trends & competition and execute effective action plans to consistently improve performance
- Analyze and interpret sales and financial report to asses opportunities and provide guidance to the store team for consistent improvement;
- Review and analyze store’s shrinkage & safety performance and identify and implement appropriate action plans for improvement l
HUMAN MANAGEMENT
- Recruit and develop leaders, build a deep talent bench for store leadership positions.
- Lead by example as a champion of people while delivering consistent results in sales, service and profitability through operational excellence - Conduct on-site management with Operation Manager, Department Manager and potential Sales Consultant to assess layout & stock, service and profitability opportunities and create and accomplish effective action plans for continuous improvements
- Accompany, coach and train Store management and associates on operational processes, merchandising standards, store image, profitability and community connection
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience managing in the big-box Home Improvement retail industry.
- Experience recruiting and developing talented teams to support company vision.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, on-site work environment.
- Experience building and maintaining cross-functional relationships in a matrix environment.
- Experience analyzing customer, market, and competitor data to implement business plans.
- Experience managing and sponsoring the implementation of corporate or local change initiatives.
- Fluent in English (working proficiency).
- Ability to obtain sales-related license or registration as may be required by law.
