In Paris, you go to Gare du Nord, and then take a train until the Epinay-Villetaneuse railroad station. More precisely, in the Gare du Nord, go to the "banlieue"(=suburbans) trains, also called "Transilien". You can take any train which goes to the directions Ermont-Eaubonne, Luzarches, Persan-Beaumont or Valmondois, (platforms 30 to 35 at the suburban station) *checking* on the platform that the train actually stops in Epinay-Villetaneuse (it should be the second stop). The trip between Gare du Nord and the Epinay-Villetaneuse station lasts 10 minutes. Then, 50 meters near the exit of the station, there is a place where people should take (you can pay with a metro ticket) the RATP bus 156 (or 354 and 356) and go down at "Université Paris 13". From the railway station, you could also walk directly to the university (10 minutes if you don't get lost). NB: Epinay-Villetaneuse is in the "zone 3" with respect to trains, which means you can not use a single metro ticket to reach us. You need to buy a ticket Paris/Epinay-Villetaneuse (it works in both direction), we strongly suggest to buy a weekly "zone 1-3" pass (if you intend to visit us dayly). You then can use this very same ticket (which cost 20,8 euros for the whole week) for all your metro/RER correspondences inside Paris. http://www-lipn.univ-paris13.fr/image/accesFac.GIF http://www-lipn.univ-paris13.fr/planfac/plan_bus.gif
