because he will think you are not a good student. if your second language is French then he is expecting a much better oral presentation than most of the Chinese student can deliver.
...so what's their expection if knowing that french is ur second foreign langue?
is around 500 points in TEF sufficient? Wont they expect that my french is as good as theirs?
...AAAAA So what can I do...(rf26rf) any positive suggestion?
If you think your French is good enough to show them you are equivalents to those from other country then tell them the truth。
Matter of fact is that your major is English so you your French as a second language requirement should be comparable with those from other country。
I guess you are not because your French teacher told you not to say so。If your major was anything else then your French probably will get by the visa officer。
The visa grant is very much depends on your future success rate in France,so language is not a skill to be used to measure you capability. If someone is strong with other major such as engineering or science, then he doesn't have to speak good French at all to get the visa approval.
Yeah, I guess you are right. For those who have their our major, their competence for foreign language is not the overriding importance. But for language students like me, our only way to stand out is to show our language capacity.
It seems I dont really have a choice, But telling the french interviewer the truth. As the saying goes" qui risque rien, n'ai rien..." Just wish me good luck.
Again, thanx for your reponse which taught me to be sure in myself.
have a nice day~~~ (rf17rf)
